Under the Weather
Posted: February 28, 2014 Filed under: Uncategorized 52 CommentsI’ve been under the weather for a few days so find I’m not up to making a journal entry this month.
Apart from this: sometimes mind, body and spirit all need a Good Lie Down.
I hope normal service will be resumed imminently.
May i suggest you use what i call the magical honey drink, its essentially a tblspoon of honey diluted in a cup of warm water, its amazing for being under the weather.
i hope you feel better very soon Peter

Missed deadlines and forgotten lectures were certainly apropos for our time during the epoch when VdGG became VdG. Loosing the extra “G” proved both traumatic and fortuitous to two members of the University of Exeter VdGG/Hammill Society. “Lambert”–as we knew him- was free and available and in London to attend the Marquee concert but believed that VdG could not possibly be VdGG so didn’t bother to go! His exquisite pain at hearing Vital knowing he could have been baying for the “Nadir” encore was sickening to behold.
On the other hand Nurlay was holidaying in Central Wales in 1978 in Llanfair Caereinon merely minding her own business when at The Goat Hotel who should approach– and apparently propostion her– but a strangely charming and intense personage?–none other than Guy Smith (and a very exotic entourage) who had come in to town to whet their whistles during the mixing of Vital at the nearby rural studio.
Sorry to hear you’re feeling poorly, Peter.
You’ve had a hectic schedule over the past year.
Take all the time you need to recover.
